A client has presented to the emergency department after splashing a chemical in the eyes. When managing the injury, what should be included in the plan of care?

    How was the accident?

    If the client can identify the chemical that injured him/her.

    If the client can calculate the quantity of chemical that was spilled in eyes.

    After these questions, the doctor need to check the security sheet of the chemical to identify if the saline solution is the better one or which other solution is needed to treat the injury.
