    21 Kg of sample = 2.1 x 10¹² ng

    Explanation:

    Data given:

mass of a sample of sodium bicarbonate = 2.1 kilograms

    1000 = 1 kg

    1 x 10⁹ nano-grams = 1 g

2.1 kilograms = how many nano grams

    Solution:

first we will convert Kg to grams

    As we know

    1 Kg = 1000 g

2.1 kg = grams of sample

    So,

    by doing cross multiplication

    grams of sample = 2.1 Kg x 1000g / 1 kg

    grams of sample = 2100 g

    So,

    2.1 Kg of sample = 2100 g

Now we will convert 2100 grams to nano-grams

    For this we know that

    1 g = 1 x 10⁹ ng

    2100 g = ng of sample

    So,

    by doing cross multiplication

    ng of sample = 2100 g x 1 x 10⁹ ng / 1 g

    ng of sample = 2.1 x 10¹² ng

    2100 g of sample = 2.1 x 10¹² ng

    So, in other words

    21 Kg of sample = 2.1 x 10¹² ng
