What is the relationship of conductivity and solubility? why can't pure water conduct electricity but salt water can conduct electricity.

    I conclude that since salt is NaCl it still kind of have that properties of sodium which is conductive but pure H2O is water and it has no mixture between the compounds and it has no properties like salt water and I think that is my answer.
