    11.07 g of CH₃CH₂CH₂COOC₂H₅

    Solution:

    The Balance Chemical Equation is as follow,

    CH₃CH₂CH₂COOH + C₂H₅OH → CH₃CH₂CH₂COOC₂H₅ + H₂O

    According to equation,

    88.11 g (1 mol) Butanoic Acid produces = 116.16 g (1 mol) of Ethyl Butyrate

    So,

    8.40 g Butanoic Acid will produce = X g of Butyric Acid

    Solving for X,

    X = (8.40 g * 116.16 g) : 88.11 g

    X = 11.07 g of Ethyl Butyrate
