    The answer to your question is V1 = 3.3 x 10⁻⁵ l

    Explanation:

    Data

    Pressure 1 = P1 = 6 x 10⁴ atm

    Volume 1 = V1 = ?

    Pressure 2 = P2 = 1 atm

    Volume 2 = V2 = 2 l

    Process

    To solve this problem use Boyle's law

    P1V1 = P2V2

    -Solve for V1

    V1 = P2V2 / P1

    -Substitution

    V1 = (1) (2) / 6 x 10⁴

    -Simplification

    V1 = 2 / 6 x 10⁴

    -Result

    V1 = 3.3 x 10⁻⁵ l
