Which compounds contain only carbon and hydrogen?

B. Lipids

C. Hydrocarbons

    It cannot be "A" or "B" And i'm positive it's not "D" so by process of elimination the answer is C because with most compounds the name always contain the first syllable of the first element and the full or alternate of the second element.
