    H + (aq) + B (aq) → BH + (aq)

    Explanation:

    When an acid is added onto a buffer, it is neutralized by the base.

    So we pretty much have;

    HCl + Weak base

    Since HCl completely dissociates in water, it is represented as;

    HCl (aq) - -> H + (aq) + Cl - (aq)

    The weak base reacts with the H+

    So our Net ionic reaction is given as;

    H + (aq) + B (aq) → BH + (aq)
