    New Volume = 2250 milliliters

    Explanation:

    Boyles Law problem = > decreased pressure = > increased volume = > inverse relationship = > P ∝ 1/V = > P₁V ₁ = P₂V₂

    P₁ = 1.5atm

    V₁ = 750ml

    P₂ = 0.50atm

    V₂ = ? = P₁V₁/P₂ = 750ml (1.5atm/0.50atm) = 2250 milliliters
