How does a tree speed up erosion? How can it slow erosion down?

    A tree is able to speed up erosion because it break up rocks. This can happen as it’s roots grow through rocks, the water breaks through rocks, etc.

    It can slow erosion down because it can act as a barrier to the elements that erode.
