In cloud computing data is accessible everywhere over the internet. Resources of a cloud computing machine can be increased or decreased any time easily. In high usage scenario one can lease more resources for it's cloud computing machine and for low usage scenario return to basic resource configuration.

SAAS is software as a service. In which a third party distributes a software by hosting on a cloud and make it available to end user.

PAAS is platform as a service. In which a third party host application development tools and software on its own infrastructure and make it available to end user.
