    Any process can be made effective by proper planning along with training and its effective implementation. There needs to be lots of analysis that is required behind and lots of time tested method have to be carefully read and then it should be chosen. So when you are writing to your boss, you can write it in step by step order.

    Existing status: Analyze what is going on and compare it with the milestones to be achieved.

    Plan: Discuss what kind of SDLC to be followed so that the project will be successful and think about team size and strength and provide training accordingly.

    Feedback: Providing feedback and appreciation through continuous monitoring. List out what needs to be monitored and their frequency.
