The first step i will advise is to "Perform a strategic systems analysis"

Explanation:

It is very important to perform a detailed system analysis. This involves analysing the previous implemented system, to understand its weaknesses and the reason for a change.

An analysis of the systems to be implemented is also necessary, there must be an understanding on the needs of the beverage distributor in to build systems that will be able to handle future expansion.
