What is the difference between canonical form and standard form which form is preferable with gates?

    The difference between the standard and the canonical forms is that for standard form, you don’t have to write the expressions unlike the canonical form. For canonical forms, it is a must that you write the expression. Cannonical forms are often to use to express min and max terms
