The only following which contains demonstration of the fundamental attribution error is the last one : D. Lucille believes that she is intelligent because her vocabulary is excellent. Only in this option we can observe self-estimation that can be defined as superiority over the others. Normal person can't be considered intelligent only because he is good at something. One of the features that makes f undamental attribution error recognizable is persons' overestimating self abilities and underestimating those of the others. In plain English - the others have problems, and you have circumstances.

    Answer

Polly believes that her father is smart because he explained the math problem

    Explanation

An attribution error is a situation where people tend to think or to have a belief that someone is behaving in a certain behavior because of certain factors. Factors which people normally relate to other peoples behaviors are such as traits, peoples ability to do something or even their feelings. This creates a scenario where people are conclusive on how one views causes positive or negative behaviors and outdo others.
