users do not have the permissions required to perform searches directly in database tables

    Explanation:

The database is the collection of data by a company or organization and it is stored and accessed electronically in a computer.

The database is created and managed by a database administrator. this administrative job might be assigned to a group of Administrators all having the required access to the the database and can query the database for information/data when needed.

The user/users cannot perform searches directly in database tables because they are given the required permission to do that only the database administrator (s) have the access to that.

Users are discouraged from interacting directly with tables because this may result in unintended changes to source data.

    Explanation:

The workbook provided is the original database source or the source data. If the user works directly on this table, there can be unintended changes in the source data. And hence we will lose the real information, and that is not required. And hence, the users are discouraged to interact directly with source data and are asked to create pivot tables first.
