Say there was a computer with 8GB of ram, a 1060, and an i5 6600k for 600$. Not bad, right? (note, these prices are for prebuilts)

On the other hand, there could be a computer with 32GB of ram, a 1080ti, and an i7 9700k for 2000$. Still not a bad deal.

So you might think that "oh the first one is so much cheaper, it must be more value", when this is wrong. Choose the computer that suits your budget/purpose.

First one - used for all-purpose. Great for web browsing, and good for games from the 2015-16 era, and works well on new games. If you use high/medium for 2015-16, and medium/low on the newer ones, you'll probably average ~50-60 fps.

Second one - heavy gaming. Works perfectly on maximums setting on almost every game. 60fps 4k at the very least, usually somewhere along the lines of 150-160 (lowball estimate) fps.

So what do you need? Do you need to browse, or do you want to do some heavy gaming?
