    Transport layer

It is the layer in the OSI (Open systems interconnection) architecture that has the main responsibility of delivering the information from one end to other end in a network system.

This layers defines the message being transferred to application process on host to other. It uses two protocols-TCP (Transmission control protocol) and UDP (User datagram protocol) for the data delivery/transmission.

    Network Layer

It is the layer that is responsible for carrying out the routing packets through the network route. The delivery of the data packet from the source to destination is done by this layer.

It has the aim of converting the IP address into MAC address and then router send the message on the network path.
