    TCP/IP stands for (Internet Control Protocol / Internet Protocol) It is developed by US Military to allow computer to communicate over long distance network.

    Two main protocol are involve in this to perform specific function TCP and IP.

    TCP define as how application can create channel of communication across network. it manage how to message assemble in packet before transmitting it over internet.

    IP defines how to address and route of each packet to make sure to reach it at right destination. each gateway computer on network check this IP address to determine where to forward message

    ISP (Internet Service Provider) provide asses to internet whether you are at home or work each time you connected to internet, your connection is route through an ISP.

    ISP provide internet access through modem this type of connection took place though telephone lines. Some of ISP provide now very fast thought fiber optics. ISP verify your account and assign your modem an IP. once you have an IP you are connect through internet. It act as hub on internet and it is also back bone of internet
