    1. Ethics Counts: Many countries are passing privacy laws due to ethics. I couldn't find anything recent that showed how many countries now have privacy laws. The book states that "good ethical standards are usually good for business". That should be a common practice within businesses, but because that's not always the case, laws are needed for violators. 2. Ethics Is Everybody's Business: Basically, this principle says to practice what you preach, so to speak. Practice good ethics and uphold others to do the same. If you don't, you are a part of the problem, not the solution. 3. A Test: Put Yourself in Another's Shoes: How would you feel about something if it were done to you? It's a good test on whether or not you are doing the right thing and practicing good ethics. 4. An Approach: Disclose: Be honest about what you are doing before you do it.
