    PPOs are different from HMOs because PPOs does not accept risk of capitation.

    Also the people who are enrolled and who are willing to pay greater cost sharing may access the providers who are not there in the contracted network.

    PPOs are more flexible than HMOs as they have greater coverage but have higher price than HMO's.
