The company is working on the project with three physically connected groups (LAN). For the purpose of speeding up the process, the administrator has to move two engineers from one group to another group. Without rewiring the LANs what we can do is create and use VLANs of Virtual LAN connections. A VLAN is a group of devices on one or more LANs which can be configured without the need of physical configuration every time to time, using logical configurations and such that no rewiring is necessary. VLANs are based on the logical connections and not the physical wire connections, and thus they are more flexible. Thus we can use VLAN here as a solution. The two advantages and features of the VLANs are that:

    a) They are the logical grouping of end computers or devices which are connected physically on the network and thus physical rewiring is not needed on the network on changing the grouping

    b) VLANs are used to reduce problem of the routers which are deployed on the network for containing broadcast traffic
