The European plug takes up 220 volts while the American one takes 110 volts is the problem why the computer is not turning on.

    Explanation:

For turning on a computer, it is very important to have proper plug that would take the volts which work in that particular country. For two countries, the volts taken up are different.

Since Europe takes up 220 volts and America takes up 110 volts, the computer which has been imported from Europe to the United States of America, it will not turn on because of the difference of the volts taken up by the plugs of the two countries.
