    The answer is 60 N.

    Solution:

    Force = mass x acceleration

    mass = 50 kg

    acceleration = 1.2 m/s^2

    Force = 50 kg x 1.2 m/s^2

    Force = 60 kg m/s^2

    Force = 60 N
