To compare the experimental and theoretical values of the experiment we use "percentage error".

There are many sources of error in experiment, major two are

    Instrument error Human Error

    Explanation:

Percentage error is the error that is used to calculate the difference between measured value and calculated value of experiment.

The formula for percentaage error is given below:

    Percentage Error = (Theo. value - Meas. Value/Theo. Value) X 100
