    Electronic communications privacy Act (C)

    Explanation:

The Electronic communications privacy Act was established in 1986 which prohibits the interference of telephone conversations of individuals by law enforcement agencies through Wiretapping into the telephone conversations and also the electronic transmission of data

Wire taping into telephone conversation by law enforcement agencies became a problem somewhat in the society because the right to free communication between individuals was breached in most wire taps hence the act was proposed to check and prohibit it. The children's online privacy protection act was meant to protect the privacy of children online.
