Privileged instructions 1) generate an interrupt so they can execute before non-privileged instructions. 2) are valid only when the cpu is in application state. 3) are valid only when the cpu is in system state. 4) are no longer used in modern computer systems

    I think its 3 it's usually executed when in Kernal state.
