    The overall heat transfer is 200 kJ

    Explanation:

    Q = ∆U + W

    Q is quantity of heat transfer

    ∆U is change in internal energy

    W is work done

    Assuming the process is an isometric process (constant volume) in which work done is 0

    Therefore, Q = ∆U + 0

    Q = ∆U

    ∆U = U2 - U1 = 200 - 100 = 100 kJ/kg

    Total mass of gas = 2 kg

    ∆U = 100 kJ/kg * 2kg = 200 kJ

    Q = 200 kJ
