    Yes it is true that Saybolt method is used to measure the viscosity of a fluid. In this test fluid allows to pass through the orifice at a specified temperature and time is record while fluid is flowing in orifice. Those fluid have high viscosity will take more to pass through orifice and those fluid have low viscosity will take less to pass through orifice.
