How does one become a good defensive driver?

Keep your eyes peeled at all times for drivers that aren't watching where they're going. Don't tailgate people so that if they stop quickly you won't hit them. Also make sure to check behind you before changing lanes as to not hit anyone who is speeding and doesn't notice that you want to switch lanes.
