    force = 5.969 kN

    Explanation:

    given data

    diameter of the hole D = 10 mm

    thickness of sheet metal T = 1 mm

    ultimate tensile strength = 190 MPa

    solution

    force is express as

    force = ultimate tensile strength * Area ... 1

    and here area will be

    area = π * D * T ... 2

    area = π * 10 * 1

    area = 31.4159 mm²

    so put value in equation 1 we get

    force = 190 * 31.4159

    force = 5969.02 N

    force = 5.969 kN
