It depends on your body weight.
Take your weight (in pounds) and divide that by 2.2.
Multiply that number depending on your age: If you're younger than 30, multiply by 40 ...
Divide that sum by 28.3.
Your total is how many ounces of water you should drink each day.

Answer: A normal person that is active needs three quarters of a gallon of water every day.
Explanation: I want to add on that this question is not that clear But i thought this might be what you are looking for also, a human can survive with out water for three days.
