Which sentences are compound sentences? Check all that apply. I want to become an artist, so I take drawing classes. Jayden went to the mall, and Bree went to the park. Sasha bought lettuce, carrots, and tomatoes at the market. The boy in the green shirt won the race. My favorite color is red, but Lia's favorite color is blue.

    Each of these happen to be connected by a conjunction and each clause is independent with its own subject and verb, which tells us they are compound.
