    A. Horizontal

When looking at an organization’s organizational chart, you will see the arrangement of the organization with regard to worker relationships (meaning who is a superior and who is a subordinate) in addition to the ranks and positions of employees, and it might even include jobs/positions currently vacant. Managers and supervisors will be placed toward the top of the chart while people being managed will be at the bottom. Jobs that are similar or identical will appear next to each other on a horizontal plane to indicate an equal ranking or position within the organization. Thus, two people working the same job can be said to have a horizontal relationship.
