    According to the last stanza of the The Nymph's Reply to the Shepherd, the Nymph would accept the love of the shepherd if he could give her eternal youth, love, and joy; and no time at all. The other things he offered such as: flowers, gowns, and shoes are all temporal, so she did not want any of them.
