    In the end of her speech, the politician Aung San Suu Kyi concludes by saying that the light of freedom has the power to spread over darkness and that "even the smallest light cannot be extinguished by all the darkness in the world" since darkness is the absence of light. Thus, light will conquer the darkness of tyranny but only if it grows because a "small light cannot dispel acres of encircling gloom". She also mentions that people has to get used to light and to learn to love it.
