- Numb. People get so invested with penicillin, which can cause addiction, that they take it regardless of the current situation.
- Ignore necessary pain. The fact that penicillin can potentially lessen any type of pain leads people to take it with the smallest reasons to; i. e. a slight headache. Or even appendicitis, like, they could take a penicillin tablet to try to ease pain which is there for a reason.
