Personally, my fluency and speed I read at definitely increased. My teacher would always record my speed and mistakes. Having little to no pronunciations mistakes, I would read from 200, to 300 and once 400! I have a medal from it for 200. I missed fluency as I graded up. I have a bigger vocabulary and I'm really proud of myself because English wasn't my first, original language.
