The poem "they shot Wook Kim " by Bart Edelman narrates the irony of the Korean migrated to America and worked in Texaco in Boulevard for a crime he committed which is worth thirty dollars and cost his life and wonders that man is always at the mercy of other man. He left his family and was with his brother and was in search of true love which he said was "perhaps, she's just around the corner" and only time can find her. He mutters and laughs at the strange American customs. The Poem highlights the scattered life of an immigrant in a distant land.
