When Scout criticizes Walter Cunningham's eating habits, Calpurnia scolds Scout, smacks her on thebottom as she sends the girl out of the room, and then lectures her on proper manners, saying, "Yo' folksmight be better'n the Cunninghams but it don't count for nothin' the way you're disgracin' 'em." Whatdoes Calpurnia mean here? Is she right? UU
