Why won't the newspaper run Major Kovaloff's ad asking for the return of his nose?

    The appropriate response is A. This is on the grounds that they are anxious such an advertisement may give them a terrible notoriety. Major Kovaloff wore various seals, on some of which were engraved armorial heading, and others the names of the times of the week.
