The concept of fate in the play is in a dreadful way. Fate is telling them that they should not be together and that if they force it then things would end up badly. At the beginning of the story they tell us that these star-cross lovers are from two different families that hate each other to death. Another scenario was when Mercutio found out that Romeo was seeing Juliet in secret and they fought until Mercutio was murdered by Romeo. Another thing was when they (Romeo and Juliet) were planning to leave Verona to be together so they developed a plan, but the plan went as terrible as possible. In consequence of everything that happened and the misinformation that didn't went through, they ended up dead. From the beginning of the play, fate told us that the outcome will not be a happy one.
