Miller is said to appear the most disgusting of all pilgrims from "The Canterbury Tales" by Geoffrey Chaucer (1340s-1400).

    Explanation:

Miller's character is the most disgusting in not only physical appearance but his conduct with his customers is also disgusting. Miller is physically huge with a red beard, wide black nostrils and a gaping mouth. He has a wart on his nose with red hair on it. He can open a door with a strike of his head.

Professionally he is a miller, but he routinely steals corn from his customer's sacks and charges much extra.

These characteristics make Miller the most disgusting of the pilgrims of "The Canterbury Tales"
