There are many types of essays that people come across during reading and writing. Those types include, narrative, descriptive, argumentative, etc.

In an argumentative essay, the type should be completely neutral. This is so because in an argumentative essay one must free himself/herself from all sorts of biasness and look at constructiveness, concrete facts. And most importantly look at both sides of the story.

Other options dont apply here, because emotion and exaggeration, formal and precise and simple and general just dont match.
