According to Chesterton, what is the most important difference between St. Thomas Aquinas and the Neoplatonists?

    St Thomas Aquinas focused on the meaning of beauty, its levels and whether or not it transcends. The Neoplatonists, on the other hand, were more focused on reality. Both sides were heavily influenced by Plato's teachings but Aquinas took the aesthetics side rather than reality side.
