The Gospel of Luke-as well as the other Gospels and New Testament writings-present a series of paradoxes, i. n., poetry is superior to wealth, suffering leads to happiness, excruciating death on a cross leads to life. What is the meaning behind these paradoxes, and why is this meaning expressed in paradoxical terms?

    The main purpose here is the paradoxes life/death, light/darkness.
