    I would say unaltered, since authentic means not false, real. I don't know the context behind this sentence to understand it better, but I can figure out it makes reference to the original, the real record.

    The other words do not apply: old-fashioned is related to a past era, reliable does no necessarily imply real and initiative has to do with something that is introductory or preliminary.
