It is not far, it is within reach,

Perhaps you have been on it since you were born and did not know,

    Free verse is the style of writing a poem in which the poet doesn't follow any rules. He is free to use any rhyme scheme across the lines. The lines of the poem may or may not rhyme with each other. Free verse poem more looks like a person speaking the lines.

    Whit Waltman's poem 'Song of Myself' is the best example of a free verse poem. He writes two-three lines and then takes a break. There is no rhythmic pattern or rhyme in any of the mentioned lines.

    He explains in the poem that people should always remain strong and take risks in life.
