    Old Major is a character in Animal Farm by George Orwell.

    They are both similar in the instance that they both believe in equality.

    They also believed in the removal of class divisions. Karl Max wrote about it in his Communist Manifesto while Old Major talked about it in his speech in Big Barn.

    Karl Max and Old Major were both distinctly different because while Old Major campaigned majorly for the betterment of animals, Karl Max was all about the betterment of humans.
