In the beginning of part two, montag remembers clarisse. why do the two books remind him of clarisse?

    In the first book Montag read "we cannot tell the precise moment friendship is formed" Montag recalls his feeling when he was with Clarisse. The second book "That favorite subject, myself" Clarisses' favorite subject was not herself.
