Un-rhymed iambic pentameter is not a free verse. It is a blank verse. Blank verses are un-rhymed but unlike free verse, they have a meter style. Whereas, free verse is devoid of any rhyming scheme or metre style. And blank verse have just one specific metre style - that of the iambic pentameter - consisting of lines of five feet, two syllables, one unstressed and the other stressed.
